Now as for the issue that you describe, I can't say that it is a known problem on any of the PNA/PNA-X model numbers that actually do support A.09.33.09. In fact, there are no situations in a standard channel where the channel would automatically switch to point sweep mode. this will always have to be selected explicitly by the user. do you have a 2-port calibration turned on in this situation? Can you provide us a state file that illustrates this problem? If the issue turns out to be a bad interaction between the newer firmware and older hardware, we will not be able to remedy that since the latest supported firmware on the E8364B is A.07.50.67 (and if my memory serves me right, the point sweep feature was not available in that version). To be able to put newer firmware on this PNA, you would have to upgrade it to a C model. |
