With 30-days Trial licenses (please note that 30-days trial is different to 30-days Evaluation license), you will be able to target every Xilinx device and run all Xilinx applications, except for bitstream generation, for 30 days.
 
Is this what you are looking for or perhaps you may want a 30-days Evaluation licenses instead (i.e. with eval lic, you will be able to target every Xilinx device and run all Xilinx applications, including the bitstream generation, for 30 days.)? If so, please obtain this from www.xilinx.com/getlicenses
 
This error message that you've shared with us would normally indicate that you may have already generated your trial.lic and the second copy can’t be obtained/applied.
In the latest version of Vivado, a new/better message is getting populated now.
 
The behavior of the first radio button "Start Now! 30 Day Trial (No Bitstream)" is intentionally different from the other 4 radio button choices because a trial license does not need to be obtained from the Xilinx Product Licensing site. Instead, the trial.lic simply needs to be copied into the .Xilinx directory. And that is what would normally happen when you click on Connect Now button.
 
If you open your View License Status, do you see this is listed in the table? These days, with the latest Vivado release, this would normally get copied to C:UsersAppDataRoamingXilinxLicense folder.
Back with 2014.4, I believe this was getting copied into the .Xilinx directory (e.g. ~/.Xilinx/trial.lic).
 
Anyhow, the above is just as an FYI.
To resolve your issue, I would say all you need is a 30-days Evaluation licenses instead of a trial one, and this will solve your problem.
