Hello Gould，Quick IV测量软件可以控制B2900A的两个通道。软件可以通过GPIB或LAN控制四个通道（或两个B2900A），通过USB控制两个通道（或一个B2900A）。您可以通过以下方式添加第二个通道

The Quick IV Measurement Software can definitely control both channels of a B2900A.

The software can control four channels (or two B2900A's) over GPIB or LAN and two channels (or one B2900A) over USB.

You can add a second channel by simply clicking the Add SMU button under the Settings tab and selecting Channel 2 under the Channel drop down menu within SMU Communication.

I receive the error: "USB interface does not support multiple frame", but I have only set a constant V-source function on channel 1 and a staircase on channel 2.

Just to clarify, you have a single B2900A unit that has 2 channels?  Is that correct?

Assuming that is the case, when you Search SMU for USB interfaces does it find your B2900A unit?

Again assuming this is the case then please make sure you have selected the same USB address for both SMU1 and SMU2.  After you have the same USB address selected for each SMU make sure you hit the Identify device button and verify the address pops up on your B2900A.

Please also make sure that SMU1 is set to Channel1 and SMU2 is set to Channel2 (the relationship here can be swapped but the point is to make sure each SMU is set to a different channel).

We have a B2912A here and I was able to successfully connect and run a measurement using a USB interface so there must be some sort of setting issue.

If you try all this and are still getting the same error please attach your Settings file to your next post so I can load it on our instrument here.

  Thank you for sending me your setup file.

I connected our B2912A up to the LAN and using your setup file I was able to successfully connect and make measurements with it.

I'm a bit confused though.  Are you connected to your B2902A via USB or LAN?  In your previous post you said you were getting the error "USB interface does not support multiple frame" but in the setup file you sent me you are using a LAN connection.

Could you possible attach a screenshot of the error you are getting?

  Maybe it should be a new question: but, I just got my new B2912, and in voltage mode, is there any way to limit the voltage so that when I'm turning the knob, I don't accidentally set a voltage above a limit or (as just happened) if I set a voltage to 25 mV, but accidently hit "V" instead of "mv"?

  I'm told there is no function to set the limit for the voltage in the voltage source mode.

The closest alternative are the following.
1.     Use the FIXED source range operation with 200 mV, 2 V, 20 V depending on the application
2.     Set the output switch off before changing the source value just in case

  Interesting; I will try the fixed range idea.  In the PNA-X we have a concept called "Global Power Limit" that you can set, and once set, nothing can cause the analyzer to exceed it (not remote commands, not recall states, not front panel).  It is a safety feature required by Satellite test customers.  Maybe the B2900 team might consider it, after all, "it's only software"
