It sounds to me like you have setup some trace with a full two-port correction. In order to make a valid measurement, it has to sweep in *both* directions. This is normal and generally unavoidable if you *really* need the full 2-port correction. However, most likely you do not. You may want to rethink this. Would a simple Response or Enhanced Response cal suffice? Both of these would eliminate the extra 20 seconds. End of sweep processing normally only takes a few milliseconds, so you are definitely seeing the reverse sweep effects. And FYI, if you are using 1kHz IFBW (or less), then the PNA is automatically put in Stepped Sweep mode. |
