古老但仍然有用的HP8753C出现显示故障

I have been using different versions of the 8753 for over 25 years, so this is not finger trouble. When the analyser is first turned on it starts up and the display is normal. I then select a thru calibration and all is normal. After performing the thru all is still OK. On selecting done response: the upper labels for the menu keys become corrupted but the lower ones remain OK. If I then save the set up in register 2 (I can’t read the label because it is corrupted but I know the menus so well that I do not have to read them) and then recall it from register 2, the display is still corrupted, but on selecting MKR the menu labels sometimes recover and the display is normal. Recently even this little trick does not always work so the condition is deteriorating. Does anybody have any idea of where to start to look for the cause? I do not have any circuit diagrams and suspect that they have never been published. 0

I had it in mind that it may be a RAM problem because the menus are frequently changed and therefore need some temporary storage, but have no idea where to find the RAM. Which assembly is it likely to be in? Whilst this analyser is causing problems I have been using my spare one. This completed one job and then died on me. Looks like the 08753-60202 A19 Graphics Processor because there is +65 V going in but not coming out. There is +5 V going in and the service manual states that this condition indicates that A19 is faulty and has to be replaced. They are not available in the UK but they are in America at a price plus a very expensive post which I am loath to pay. I am doing research on antennas which is unpaid and I have to do everything on a very low budget.
