PICkit3/PICDEM PLUS在5V时产生过大电流错误

    I have moved from a PIC18LF26K22 to a PIC18F26K22 for a special application. I am using my old PICkit3 with the new version of X IDE on a PICDEM 16 Plus board. I have set the configuration for the PICKit to supply 5.0V. I get the common error below:
     "Too much current has been drawn on VDD"
      "Programmer to target power is enabled - VDD = 5.000000 volts."
Not seeing any drop on the scope and I have programmed various 5V pics this way before. Can't think that I forgot anything--only new thing here is the latest IDE. I do not have anything attached to the board that might draw power. (The 3.3V programming works fine).  I have addressed the problem by attaching the aux power adapter to the board but I am curious what is going on here.
