It is not officially supported, but it is possible to make it run, depending on how much Linux admin work you are willing and able to do.  The supported Linux distros are the ones Xilinx has tested.

For what it's worth -- Fedora in general is not the RH distro you want to use because of it's upgrade/obsolescence schedule.

For a Dev machine you want stability. (Xilinx install RPMs already bring enough instability to the game).

I would recommend going with a more long term supported version -- either RedHat Enterprise Linux -- or, the very popular CentOS. (which is what I use)

It's not bleeding edge -- but in a lot of cases, for stability's sake -- that's a good thing.
