I'm getting a license error when I try and run simulation in Vivado 2014.1 My version limit is 2014.05, which as I understand means that I can use software versions that came out at or before may of 2014. Vivado 2014.1 falls within this catagory and I'm not sure why I'm getting a license error when trying to run the Vivado Simulator. Can anyone explain this to me please? Thank you Sam Vogel

I can't replicate the error now because the problem is resolved. The error was something to the effect of, ' no valid license found to launch xsim' There was someone else in my work group who was logged onto the software, which I forgot about I asked him to log into his work computer from home and log out. The strange thing is he wasn't able to succesfully log in from home to close out of the software but the license error went away anyways. I don't uderstand what happend but I only have to share the software until the end of Jully so I think I can deal with it until then. Thanks for your time Sam |
