I was checking those sections ( a lot of info) but I don't see the Fieldfox has any specification on accuracy so how can I compare the computed results. Also can I calibrate the Fieldfox with the 85054B the fixed load only go to 2 Ghz so how can I measure the sliding load? Edited by: theamberco on Aug 23, 2014 9:42 AM |

This is what we do have: S11 uncertainty charts with the N9910X-800 3-in-1 cal kit, Page 10 of the N9912A Data Sheet S11 uncertainty charts with 85054D cal kit, and residual directivity, etc. provided also Page 10 of MW FieldFox Data Sheet. The chart is applicable to N9912A, although the data sheet is for the microwave FieldFoxes. Please note that these charts are based on a coverage factor of 1, which is common in handhelds. Benchtops often use a coverage factor of 2. The 85054B low-band load is optimized for low-frequencies and specified to 2 GHz, but it may give you acceptable performance to 6 GHz. FieldFox does not support sliding load calibration at this point. A sliding load cal may be possible via SCPI, but I would have to confirm that. If you are interested in a cal over SCPI, let me know and I will look into it. FieldFox is not part of the uncertainty calculator. |
