I have seen it done, using 2 interposers, or SoftTouch adapters. There may be other schemes which will work, as well. Because there's no standard scheme, there's no standard configuration file. Based on what you have told me, you may have an interposer (either W3631A or W3636A) on each of your 2 DDR3 chips. In a 16 bit configuration this interposer brings the Address, Command, and Data buses to the 2 analyzer cards. If you follow the standard connection, Address and Command go to one card, and the 16 bits of Data goes to the second card, from Pod A. The Data bus uses 32 channels, due to dual-sample mode. This leaves 32 channels available on the second card. You could extend this configuration by connecting Pod A of the second E5845A to Pod 3 of the second card. Then you could duplicate the channel mapping of Pods 1 and 2 into pods 3 and 4. Once that's done, you could save that configuration and use it to accomplish your measurement task. You might have to adjust the signal groupings on the Read and Write tabs of EyeScan, but, again, that could be saved into the configuration file for future use. Al |
