I believe VEE and VISA will only be able to communicate with devices that correspond the the USBTMC specification. What this means is that the drivers that get installed when connecting a USB device to the PC needs to be written to the specifications so that VISA will recognize any test & measurement class devices connected. VEE makes calls to the VISA libraries to talk to instruments when communicating to USB devices.
 
The custom application software may be calling DLL's, Active-X controls, or .NET calls for the communication. All of methods are also possible in VEE. If the instruments in question ship with any Visual Basic examples, the function calls should be similar to make through VEE.

I need help with rotating the XTickLabel on a bar graph.  The XTickLabel contains model numbers which contain 8 characters so I need to rotate the models so they are vertical.  I am a beginner at Matlab and can not figure out how to accomplish this simple task.  I truly appreciate help from anyone on this task.
