If I understand correctly the 34401A read 0.98002V from the Fluke 5700 calibrator set to 0.9800. If this is with the 34401 set to 10 PLC integration time with autozero on, this is within the accuracy specifications. It read the same for the input impedance set to 10 Mohm and >10 Gohms. But with your DUT the voltage reading went from 0.97910V to 0.98009V when you increased the input impedance to >10 Gohms. If we assume that the 0.980071V reading from the 3458A is correct, this means that 971 uV is dropped across the DUT output impedance and which calculates out to be 9.9 Kohm. The Fluke 5700 output impedance is very low so it does not affect the 34401A reading regardless of the input impedance setting. The 3458A power on input impedance is >10 Gohm. It can be set to 10 Mohm. At the 10 Mohm setting , you should see the same voltage reading change. |
