@fatz_g. SCD is a Spec Control Document code for devices that may be different from Standard devices. 
 
Check with your Distributor to get details if you looking to source that part to get more information on the SCD code.

Please share part marking snap shot. So that we can confirm whether that is SCD code or any other code. 
 
SCDs are used for special orders. SCDs do not guarantee backwards compatibility. Steps are backward-compatible with earlier steps and are intended to become the standard device.
