BUT I do see an issue that you might be runnining into. First: Are you in Swept IMD or IM Spectrum? If you are asking for more power from the IMD tones than the sources can provide, you will run up to the source unlevel region. It might be the source will go unlevel trying to acheive the target power and at the instant it goes unlevel it can have a higher power than the leveled power, and so meet the goal, but then it is unstable. Two more things to try: Check it at lower power; or go to the port 3 source (Source2out1) and change it to high power mode if your frequency is below 3.2 GHz (hgih power has no effect above 3.2; below it high-power bypasses the octave band filters). Also, if you are near the top of the ALC range and in Swept IMD, you might try to use ALC off. In Rx leveling, the receiver is used to detect the signal and so it is not required to have ALC on to get reasonable results) |
