Please note that Xilinx SDx tools are not supported on this version of Ubuntu OS, and that is most-likely the reason why you are seeing this behaviour, as we didn't do any testing of our (Xilinx) tools on this specific machine.
 
Please check the "Software Requirements" section of the User Guide 1238, as this lists of all supported OSs that you can use with SDx:

Please try using one of the supported operating system and if you still see the same behaviour, please let us know and we will then be able to help you with this problem.
However, since we don't even have such Kubuntu 18.04 OS available, we won't even be able to reproduce the issue, in order to be able to help you to get this resolved.
 Unless there are other Kubuntu 18.04 OS users who've had a similar issue and have managed to overcome this problem, who can help you out with this, you are better off just installing SDx on a Support OS, as there no guarantee that you won't encounter some other issue further on the line, even if you get the tools up and running.

为了避免每次想要调用工具时都手动调用它们，可以在下面添加几个linesto.bashrc文件，这样每次打开一个新终端时，都会自动调用这些脚本。
#Xilinx工具来源/opt/Xilinx/Vivado/2018.2/settings64.sh source /opt/Xilinx/SDK/2018.2/settings64.sh
在脚本中设置上述命令后，您只需要为Vivado运行命令“vivado”，为SDK运行“xsdk”命令。

Thanks for letting me know.
 
In Ubuntu, if you do start -> search box, search with keywords Vivado or sdk, can  you launch GUIs that way?.
 
This is an alternate approach to start vivado or e.g. sdk through terminal:
 
open a terminal then run the below steps:
     For vivado:
Source /opt/Xilinx/Vivado/2018.2/settings64.sh (source /Vivado/settings64.sh)
This line calls a hidden file in the Xilinx installation to set all necessary paths and environments
                  Browse to the directory in terminal:
                         /opt/Xilinx/Vivado/2018.2/bin/vivado
                     Or
 Type: vivado
             The Vivado GUI tool will start after a few seconds
 
     For e.g. SDK:
                        Source /opt/Xilinx/SDK/2018.2/settings64.sh
                  Browse to the directory in terminal:
                         /opt/Xilinx/SDK/2018.2/bin/xsdk
Or
    Type: xsdk or xsdk &
 
The SDK GUI tool will start after a few seconds.
 
To avoid calling them manually everytime you want to invoke the tools, you can add below few lines to .bashrc file so every time a new terminal is open, the scripts are automatically called.
 
#Xilinx tools
source /opt/Xilinx/Vivado/2018.2/settings64.sh
source /opt/Xilinx/SDK/2018.2/settings64.sh
 
Once the above commands are set in the script, you will only need to run commands “vivado” for Vivado and “xsdk” for SDK.

That is, to set the SWT_GTK3 environment variable to 0 before starting Vivado
export SWT_GTK3=0
to /opt/Xilinx/SDK/2018.2/.settings64-Software_Development_Kit_SDK_.sh
this  should run export SWT_GTK3=0 on a sh script for eclipse.
