Hello all,

Today I upgraded Vivado to Update 1 of 2017.4 in order to get access to to the XC7S25, XC7A12, and XC7A25 devices. The update completed successfully as far as I can tell; 2017.4 is the only Vivado version I have, and the installer doesn't find any candidate installations to patch when I rerun it. This tells me the installer thinks my installation has been updated.

However, when I try to create a project in the Vivado GUI, I can't select any of these parts for a new project (let's focus on XC7S25 for now). Additionally, when I run Vivado in batch mode similar to the following command, Vivado complains "the selected part cannot be found":

create_project -force -name bscan_spi_xc7s25 -part xc7s25-csga324-1Going through my Xilinx installation directory, it does look like the installer succeeded; I find plenty of updated files since I installed 2017.4. Even the installed_devices text file was updated today. But there's no sign of xc7s25 being installed!
