  Hi -

PSA and NFA are older instruments that predate the usage of USB flash drives.  There is work being done now on a new utility suite to be able to grab screen images and trace data from Agilent instruments so that the screen images and trace data can be imported into a variety of programs and can be printed via your computer.  This utility should be available later this year.  In the meantime, the most supported way to grab screen images from PSA and NFA is via SCPI command.  There are a couple programming examples posted at www.agilent.com/find/sa_programming that demonstrate how to grab a screen image from an instrument and save it to your computer.  The VB example for ESA can be used for NFA.  It looks like we should update the examples for there to be a precompiled version that works for NFA.  Please also find attached an updated version that works is already precompiled for PSA.   

I have also attached an image of what the example program looks like.

For PSA you additionally can save screen images to the internal C: drive and can use your web browser to grab the screen images via FTP.  
Depending on whether a PSA has option 115/117 or not, the directory you use to get access to the C: drive is different.  This often causes confusion.  Although FTP is not officially supported, many people use FTP to get files off of their instrument, since it is hard to find floppy disks anymore.

If your PSA has option 115/117 (512 MB memory), you have to use the following URL in your web browser (substituting your instrument's IP address for mine): 

ftp://vsa:service@192.168.100.2/../../../cfs/e4440a/userdir/

For instruments without option 115, you would enter the following URL into your web browser to access the Userdir (Note: substitute your IP address for mine):

ftp://vsa:service@192.168.100.2
