type ./ise at the terminal. That should start project navigator.

go to /opt/Xilinx/11.1/ISE/bin/lin and copy xu****.hex to /usr/share/
 
 
cd /opt/Xilinx/11.1/ISE/bin/lin
sudo cp xu****.hex /usr/share/
 
Edit xu***dfwu.rules
 
sudo gedit xu***dfwu.rules
 
Change all $TEMPNODE to $tempnode , save and close file
 
Copy rules to /etc/udev/rules.d/   and restart udev service
 
sudo cp xu***dfwu.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/
sudo service udev restart
 
Now at home create a temp dir (tmp)
 
 
cd
mkdir tmp
cd tmp
 
Go to http://www.rmdir.de/ ̃michael/xilinx/  and download u***-driver-HEAD.tar.gz on the tmp dir, unpack and make
 
tar -xv*** u***-driver-HEAD.tar.gz
cd u***-driver
make
 
 
Now copy to /usr/lib all *.so
 
 
sudo cp *.so /usr/lib/
 
Connect your board and type lsu***
 
 
lsu***
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 009: ID 03fd:0008  Xilinx, Inc.  <-- Your board is working
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0d49:7310 Maxtor
