Still as far from accurate expected result, but got answer to the question that which mode of MM7150 gives better result. The MM7150 demo code has (A) Accelerometer Gyrometer (B) Accelerometer. Experiment observation is that the (A) gives better result. See the attached image. The left side is (A) and (B) shows that position is crossing the horizontal axis. in the experiment always moved the device in one direction, still it shows opposite positions. To find the positions have just done the double integration. though it is not the best way but (A) looks better than (B). probably this is what fusion sensor was supposed to do. Next will be finding ways to achieve accuracy. if anyone of you have ideas or suggestion kindly suggest. Kalman Filter will be what I think to experiment with. Attached Image(s) |
