  I could not find any other posts on this problem so assume it is something in my setup.

Whenever I try to "Update time Using the Internet" I see "Working..." and then a beep and the error message "Invalid Network Connection".

Yes, the unit is connected to the LAN and the LAN has access to the internet. PCs on this network use various internet time servers without problems. The N9923A works fine with the Data Link Software over the LAN.

What am I missing?

I have no proxies, only LAN switches and a wireless router.

I tried putting the FieldFox in the router's access connection list with access to any destination and any service but still see the Invalid Network Connection. I also tried connecting the FF directly to the router (bypassing the wireless) but see the same error.

I finally found the other post you mentioned by searching on "proxy" but there was nothing there that I haven't already tried.

Thank you to wreeve for helping us narrow down the issue...

In order for the *Update Time Using Internet* to work, you need to use the *DHCP* setting in FieldFox. Using a +STATIC IP does not work+ at this time (firmware revision A.07.76 or lower) as we do not have an entry field for DNS server. We will add that in the future. So for now, users need to use DHCP and to also be sure to press *"Apply Settings" "Now"* after they have selected DHCP.
