ICD4不能编程或调试PIC16F753

Project Properties shows ICD4 with correct S/No but two red dots. It cannot be selected.
PicKit 3 will program ok but debug returns a "Failed while sending cmd_SET_PERIPHERAL_FREEZE command"
I purchased ICD4 to get around PicKit error but it appears that I may have done my money.
Can anyone throw any light on this please.
