I believe I have given the unit ample time to wARM up (going on an hour now). I'm not a 6033A expert but can recommend a few ideas: 1. Power cable shouldn't be causing the problem, these are pretty standard. 2. You can check for any power on the back terminals, even without the front panel working. 3. If available, you can verify if the main board working correctly by sending it a command over the HP-IB. You can send some simple commands to change voltage and amp outputs on one terminal. 4. Download the Service Manual http://cp.literature.agilent.com/litweb/pdf/5959-3346.pdf and go through the Troubleshooting steps (page 29). The power supply is still sold and service is available. It is best to debug as much as possible by yourself, and verify the problem before sending to our service center. A simple problem could be fixed with a new part. Good luck! Mike |
