I have not heard back from him and it has been months. You don't suprise me. That was my experience with a spectrum analyser which was bought new by the uni I worked at. Support was basically zero. This in my mind is where Agilent score. I can't afford to buy many new things from Agilent, although I have bought a CertiPrime FieldFox from Agilent, which I'm waiting delivery on. But the tech support from Agilent is good. Even if things are out of support, their staff will try to help. The fact HP and Agilent equipment are well made tends to mean you don't get too many problems. But if you do, you have a reasonable chance of sorting it out. With Anritsu, your best bet is probably to put on eBay "as-is" and be greatfull for any money it fetches. > Experiences like this really leave the customer with a bad impression. Yes agreed. I must admit, I recently made requests to both Maury Microwave and the SRI Connector Company for manuals, and in both cases they were sent in under 24 hours for no charge. Bird is a company that amazes me. They turn out power meters which rarely meet their own spec when new.
