跟踪生成器怎么移植到8594E上

I own an 8594E with TG(tracking generator) which is not working (broken display) and another 8594E which works nicely but which does not have TG. So i thought to trasplant the TG part from the non working unit to the good one. I have read on Agilent documentation that the TG option must be installed on factory and cannot be upgraded by the user. So I guess there must be something involved in assembling the TG inside the analyzer. Has anyone tried to trasplant a TG board/module to a 8594E or similar ? How easy/difficult is it? Transplanting the tracking generator from one instrument to another should be easier than an upgrade since most of the parts are put together and you will see how everything fits in your broken instrument. I would highly recommend doing the transplant in conjunction with looking at the 9x service guide, which you can find at a.com; search on 8594E and then view the manual in the Technical Support section.
