  The Simulate > Generate Netlist menu function did not appear until ADS 2009U1. The equivalent in ADS 2009 is under DynamicLink > Top-level Design Netlist.

However, this is only relevant if the error is in the netlist file and the last operation you attempted was to try to run a simulation. If the message is generated from any other file then this will be of no help.

In general the line number reference is of little to no use to diagnose any problem. The text in the message is more useful in the context of what you were attempting to do when the message was generated. For certain even if you were able to locate the actual line referenced you as a user will never be able to 'fix' the problem by making changes at that location. Something that you did in the design schematic/layout has caused the problem. You need to backtrack through all the recent changes and find your mistake.
