Answer to your queries:
 
 - Can I run install_fnp.sh from the client ?
[Vinay] Since you are generating the license for server, you need to run install_fnp.sh on the server.

 - As I am a linux user. How can I make the setting outside of the vlm application (step 6) ?
   Do I have to configure environment variables ?
   Which environment variables ? (XILINXD_LICENSE_FILE, LM_LICENSE_FILE, ...)
[Vinay] Once the license was processed, you have to set the XILINXD_LICENSE_FILE to port@server on client machines.
 - How can I return the license keys to Xilinx without error ?

 - Can I generate new license keys (step 3) if I can't return the previously generated license keys.
[Vinay] You can generate the new licenses without returning old licenses.

 - The license must be installed on our server. Can you confirm the procedure from step 1 to 6 ?
[Vinay] The steps you followed are correct but you have to follow these steps on server with root/administrator privileges.

There is no proxy for my internet connection.
 
AR #60525 indicates "A license cannot be returned without the proxy setting information."
