Are these gages fussy about what connectors they work with? According to the box, the part numbers for the gage set are 85054-80011, which is different to the current manual for the Agilent 85054B kit, which lists the gages set as 85054-60049. So I was looking at Mauri Microwave web page and found this: Maury's connector gage kits provide an easy to use, direct reading, self-checking, and accurate way to measure the critical linear interface dimensions *of most* coaxial connectors. By the way, MIL-C-39012 class 1 has a min of 0.001 nominal 0.001 Max of 0.007 gap. MIL-C-39012 class 2 has a Min of 0.003 nominal 0.003 and a Max of 0.040 gap. Maury High Precision has Min. 0.0000 nominal 0.0000 and Max of 0.0010 Flexco Microwave S series cables data are conforming to MIL-C-39012 it does not say what class. I hope this helps. |

That table I gave you is for N type not SMA it is on the Maury webpage. Military specs class 2 has a max of 0.040. I doubt that those gages can only be used with Agilent. |
