It cannot be debugged with MPLAB , without replacing the microcontroller with a expensive debug adapter. If you have PIC12F675 already, you may of cource use it, but don't buy any more, if it isn't nearly free. PIC devices in 14 pin or 20 pin package may be much more flexible for development. PIC microcontrollers in 8 pin package, 14 pin package, and 20 pin Package have Power supply and Programming/Debugging pins in the same place, so may use the same development board, or you may use a breadboard for experiments. Program developed for one device in the family, may be used for other devices in the family with small changes. Debugging need 5 pins for power and debugging signals, so only 3 pins are free for program use.
