SICL错误

  Hi Ashley,

No need that there's really something physically connected to that COM-port in
order to get that error. There's a number of 'sleeping' programs that occupy the
COM-port 'just in case'. Example: For my Palm organizer, there's a software
called 'Hotsync', that loads on boot and stays resident all the time, so I can
do data exchange as soon as I connect my Palm to the serial port, without having
to do anything on the PC. I have to explicitly disable it if I want to use that
COM-port with VEE.

I would suggest to browse the autorun folder as well as the ini files for
programs and tools that use a COM port. If you call the task manager
(Ctrl-Alt-Del...), you have a list of suspects and can work through them one by
one TIL IT WORKS.
