Simple question, how-to make same measurement by using SCPI commands.
* Example device is 4.2V li-on powered handheld.

You probably want to look at the ELOG function of the N6705B. This allows you to do an external datalog where you log data directly to your PC. You would then need to store the logged data in your preferred file format (you can use .csv so that you can open it in Excel.

Hi,

I'm using Agilent N6705B DC power Analyzer for automation measurement. I want to ask is it possible to save data in csv. files in PC directly from the device using elog and how? I want to integrate that in C++ enviroment to perform automatically setting and saving data using datalogger.

I see two questions here:

1. Can I save my ELOG dats in a .csv file
Yes you can. With an ELOG, you just set up the different parameters and tell it to run. While it is running, you need to go and Fetch the data. You can put the data in whatever format you want, including csv.

2. Can you control the 14585A software with C++?
Sorry, the functionality is not available.
