If the SMU hits the current compliance limit during the test, the test is immediately stopped. WM 1 If the SMU hits the current compliance limit during the test, the current will clamp at the limit but the test will attempt to continue until it finishes each of the sweep parameters. IC-CAP does not 'formally' support this command, but all Instrument Options for IC-CAP instruments include an InitCommand option via which one can send extra commands to the instrument, that the driver does not formally support. Sometimes this can be used to achieve settings which the driver does not currently support. I do not currently have access to a lab + device to a full test on this, but some preliminary tests suggest that setting WM2 in the E5270B InitCommand field, e..g enter: WM 2n (to send the command and provide a new line) should have the effect you are looking for. IC-CAP will still send warnings about having hit compliance for all the values, but new data should not be taken for each point. Please try that and let us know if it is helpful.
