  I'm not sure I follow you. If you are refering to the default preferences, under "file" and setting my significant figures to 4, I have tried this. I have also used fixed instead of standard. What is puzzling is right now I have it set to 4 and all of the logging Alphanumeric boxs with one data set going to them are fromatted to 4 sig figs. For some reason when you use a To String  formula it uses all of the data.

I also tried running the data through a Real 64 box and setting the character size to 4 before running it into the to string box, but it obviously still sees the data. I think there is an easy way to do this I must be overlooking something.

Any other suggestions?

Simply take for example, 12.3456789 and make it 12.34?

Or is there a way to round to a specific decimal place in this same case it would be- 12.35.

I think the round feature only rounds to the whole number.

  The global default numeric format is not releveant for the data coming out from the ToString object, it is always a Text data type.
You need to open up the transaction in the ToString object and change from Default format to Real64 format. This will then give you the options to select significant digits, fixed digits etc.
For most flexibility you may also want to split up each data item (A, B,C ...) into one transaction each (make sure you also set EOL OFF) so you can control the format for each item individually. If you have all items in one transaction the same format will be applied to all of them.

  You can achieve what you want with one To string box with multiple transactions.
Transaction One: Write "A", set the format to Date/ Time and Width to suit, Turn EOL OFF
Transaction Two:  is "t" EOL OFF
Transaction Three: Write "B", set the format to real and then set fixed decimal places to 4 turn EOL OFF
Transaction Four:  is "t" EOL OFF
Transaction Five: Write "C", set the format to real and then set fixed decimal places to 4 turn EOL OFF
Transaction Six:  is "t" EOL OFF
..
..
..
Transaction Thirteen Write "G", set the format to real and then set fixed decimal places to 4 turn EOL ON

That should format everything nicely in regular coloumns.

  Actually you dont need the separate transactions for the "t" character.
The REAL format is not relevant for "t" so it is just sent as "t".
Note that you can also specify field width and left/right justify within the field.
