I have been able to generate a checksum through the XC8 Linker -> Additional Properties -> Checksum box with the code: 0-1FFE@1FFF,offset=0xFFFF,algorithm=5,width=2,poly=0x1021 this generates a CRC16 using poly 1021 and places it in at address 1FFF in program memory. The problem is the program space is only 14 bits wide and my crc value is 16 bits, so the MSB nibble gets ruined. Is there a way to get the generation of the CRC to split the result over two memory locations? Thanks, Nodee
