I put a substitute filter in(what we had in the shop) and ordered the filter element. With this substitute filter the temperature elevated to 43 degrees. There is an observation that I made where the temperature elevates as I am using this unit. I have not noticed this in other 3458As that we have. ( But then again, I have not looked at the temperature with so much interest either) My questions are: Should the temperature change? I changed the position I had the meter in. I had a fluke 5700 blowing air on the 3458A causing the temperature to elevate. I repositioned the 3458A on top the 3458A and my elevating temperature problem went away. |
