I'm running it at 120 MHz and it runs a controllerless LCD via DMA & PMP ok at ~60Hz. I can't seem to get sleep mode working properly, I have SLPEN set to 1 in OSCCON and I try and shut everything down just to test power consumption when sleeping. I will eventually enable the change notification interrupts for either the power key or charger inserted lines into the uP. Consumption when running standalone code is 12mA! On the pic32mx I was able to get this down to 150uA with the RTCC still active and CN interrupt. I can't see where I'm going wrong but I think it isn't properly going into sleep mode. I need sleep consumption to be less than 1mA ideally for battery preservation as it is a battery operated measuring handheld device. Can anyone help? Does anyone have any sleep/idle consumption figures for their MZ design? Any anecdotal evidence appreciated so I know what I can aim for. Thanks in advance |
