Looks like you have configured the GT as a receiver and you are not using encoding or any other features of GT receiver like comma detection etc.

I assume that you are using the GT just to transfer the data at higher line rate.

Please elaborate on what is not working? Are you seeing incorrect data?

What is the source that transmits data to GT RX?

Hi Yash,
 
   You are right. I am using GT for reception only. The thing is that I am receiving data from TSW1400 board (custom board) at 2560Mbps. There  @TSW1400 board TX is ALTLVDSTX(Altera IP basically SERDES). It is transmitting 4 channel data through 1 channel. On kintex 7,  I am trying to receive it using GT. The receiver output is 16 bit, which is being written into a FIFO. And from the FIFO I am trying to read 4bits at a time. In the program I am taking only one bit out of 4bit output from the FIFO to display as I think it will give me one channel data.
 
I configured GT but I am getting data which is not correct as the received data should be similar to the Transmitted, it is because I am sending x0005 data only. I am attaching the wave forms. In the transmit signal you can easily see two peak representing the only 2 ones present in data sequence x0005. Please tell me wheather my configuration is correct or not. And if not please tell me what am I doing wrong.

Hi,
 
Are you sending a PRBS pattern from the transmitter and checking at the receiver. Instead of checking on the scope for hte signal level's i would recommend you to send a PRBS pattern and have a PRBS checker at the receiver. This should show the correct reception.
 
Also note that based on your board parameters, the RX equaliztion settings have to be sweeped to get the correct DATA at the inputs. By default, you cannot expect the RX to receive the TX data, unless it is an idealy condition. It depends on the trace delays and impedance.

   No, there is no option available to transmit PRBS as I already mentioned that for transmission  I am using ALTLVDSTX (ALTERA IP) which takes parallel data and transmit it serially something like ISERDESE2 of XILINX. Can you please tell me how to receive this data properly.
