You can however, change your triggering mechanism. This sounds like a good use of the pulse width trigger. You don't say what the normal state of this signal is, low or high. Assuming it's normally low, and it should go high for 100nsec every 1 usec, then I would use a pulse width trigger that looks for a negative pulse (signal going down, then up) that is wider than 1usec. These values, and maybe the polarity will change, based on your needs, but this should help. I thought about using the pulse width trigger, the problem is that an additional edge is needed for the trigger event. The signal stays up for too long, but this "too long" time needs to end for the trigger to fire. In my case, the signal does never get back down again. I could create this additional edge myself, but by then the memory of what happen at the failure time is long gone. Did I misunderstand? |
