  Hello,

Here is the general SCPI comands you need in order to achieve the max read speed over a remote interface:

"conf:res 1000"                          define the correct range for your measurement, 1000 ohms is purely a filler 
"form:data real,32"                     Format the data so it is sent over the bus via binary
"sense:res:nplc .001"                Set the minimum NPLC for fastest measurements
"sens:res:zero:auto off"              Turn off Autozero
"disp off"                                   Turn off the display (makes a minimal difference I would consider this optional)
"trig:del 0"                                 Set the trigger delay to 0 
"samp:count 50000"                  Or your desired number of readings, again 50000 is just a filler for this example
"trig:sour imm"                          Set your trigger source to your desired function, I used immediate
"init;*wai"                                 Puts the instrument in a wait for trigger state, will trigger as soon as one is received.  *wai makes the instrument finish before processing next command
"data:remove? 50000"               Remove readings from the instrument, data comes back as a binary block


There are several different programs you could use to program the device, Matlab, C++ , VEE, C#, VB.net, etc... If you don't have a preference, I suggest you try using the command expert tool.  www.agilent.com/find/commandexpert

If you don't want to program at all you can use the built in web gui, just type in the IP address of your instrument into your web browser to pull up the gui.  See attached

The last option is the new DMM connectivity utility, and use the digitizing mode.  I'm not sure how fast this utility will allow you to go, you may be able to achive full speed, haven't tried it yet.
