This is what I know: Microsoft has no longer supports VBA, and that is why you don't see a VBA button on your TxSL installation. TxSL 7 is capable to run VBA actions, but it is not possible to edit them.

The main difference on TxSL 7 is the capability to run multi-threads and the possibility to use Windows 7. There are some enhancements like 'Undo' and a better support for .NET and IVI drivers. 

If you have a large set of VBA actions that you need to maintain in the future, I do recommend either to keep a PC running WXP or creating a Virtual Machine running WXP and TxSL 6 to have the capability to edit those actions while you port them to .NET. There are a couple of virtual machine software in the marker, some of them are even free. You just need Microsoft's licenses for the operating system on the VM. 

The error that you are having is related with VBA?

在升级之前您应该知道TX 7和Windows 7中还有另外两个大问题：1。）Testexec需要管理员权限，因此登录用户必须是管理员。

  There are two other big problems in TX 7 and Windows 7 which you should know before upgrading:

1.) Testexec needs Administrator-rights, so the logged in user has to be administrator. Also the person who does not know anything about computers and is only executing a testplan. This can be a problem if you are using your testsystem in a 24h-production-line.

2.) If you are using the multiple-uut-feature you will see that a testplan saved in TX6 with for example 10 DUTs and a file-size of 4MB will increase to >110MB when saved in TX7.1.4. So this feature is not usable anymore.
