  Craig,

Check out the option of the toggle button (Data>Toggle Control>Button). You can specify different images for on and off states, and select "Wait for Input" or "Auto-execute".

Hello to all,

Is there a way to change button labels and colors while the program is
running? I have a panel created and I would like to have the start
button change to a stop button once pressed. I would like the color to
change as well. If this seems like an elementary question, I apologize
as this is my first Vee program.

     Anybody out there know how to unbuild a coord without using the 'Unbuild
Coord' object?  I need to access the coordinates independant of each other
in a formula without splitting them up outside the formula object.  Is there
something like:

unbuildx()  which would return '-1' if passed a coord like '(-1,1)'?

     Currently my only solution is to parse the data through an asText statement
and return the value through an asReal statement, but this seems pretty
brutal to do a lot of.

Am I missing something?

If you want the easy way - you can change the text by using a cyclic button
with 2 enum values.

If you want pretty colours - I would create a couple of nice bitmaps for
"start" and "stop" or whatever, and use the 'custom' feature of the toggle
button to set them as the "on" and "off" images.
