  Hello,
Since the 4145A is too old product, please allow me if I am sending you the incorrect information.

Unfortunately there is no "double sweep" function on 4145A which is implemented on 4155/56C and B1500A. Therefore you cannot do it on front panel.

I think you can make the program by GP-IB.
You can refer the manual on Agilent.com

Although I cannot send you the perfect program here, you can see the sample program on page 105- on the manual. I think you can make the forward & back sweep program by loop of "DV" and "TI" in system mode.
