programming. The selection of serial vs. parallel mode should be available in Impact when you
generate the PROM file for these parts.
Is this for an existing board, or are you making a new design? Because normally I would suggest
saving some money and using a standard SPI flash to configure Spartan-6 parts. You can program
them using the JTAG of the S6 (indirect SPI flash programming) and they are available for use
by the design after it is running (useful for MicroBlaze systems as well as other purposes).
