So, while Windows 10 is running, you also have the capability of running windows 7. On my windows 10 pro machine, I have both a windows 7 vm, and an XP vm (but do not tell anyone I have an XP vm!
Here is a link to a tutorial on how to setup hyper-v and install windows 7. The bad news is, even if your media is w7 sp1, you still have to endure hours of pain downloading and installing all 300 updates or so that there are for Windows 7 SP1.

Now, when you run the w7 vm, you will not have audio. However, you can use Remote Desktop to the W7 VM, and have all the audio you want.
XP is a bit more cumbersome, especially with mouse issues. I only installed XP just to see if I could get it to work. It does, but it serves no useful purpose. And, installing anything lower than XP is not possible, so I have been told.
Anyway, give it a try. I find that it works pretty good. And, if you do use it, the more memory you have on your physical machine, the better. On my machine, I have 32gb. Performance is VERY good. The hyper-v control screen is very functional as well.
So, if you have w10 pro, and a license for W7, the rest is easy because hyper-v is "free".
