HP 8590系列跟踪发生器选件检测

您好,因为很难为这些优秀的分析仪购买原始跟踪产品,并且对于常见的测量来说使用它非常舒服,我自己也建立了良好的跟踪功能。
但我想在菜单中添加选项选项以进行开/关跟踪,也可能是ALC。
分析仪检测此选项的方式是什么?
我虽然只将一些引脚连接到总线上的Ucc / GND,但我找不到究竟是什么,也许它需要不同的FW或密码......?
真的我不知道如何安装新的选项009或010,谁可以帮助我?

because it is difficult to buy original tracking gen to these good analysers and for common measuring it is very comfortable to use it, I have built fine tracking myself. But I want to add option choice into the menu for on/off the tracking and maybe ALC too.  
What way the analyser detects this option? I though only connect some pin to Ucc/ GND on the bus, but I can not find what exactly, maybe it needs different FW or secret code...? Really I do not know how for example to install the new one option 009 or 010 , who can help me? Thanks

  The detection of a tracking generator option in the 8590 series is done when you have the control board for the tracking generator plugged into the instrument.

What model instrument are you working with and what tracking generator do you have?

If you are saying that you have built your own tracking generator and are trying to get the instrument to think it has such by connecting a data line to power or ground that will not work. The instrument sends out a command at power up for all optional assemblies to report back if they exist using the data bus, so it is much more complicated to identify something than what you might think.

你好,我和朋友两个8591E。
跟踪代工作正常,我们使用精确的PLL和xtal测试版本。
但是接通/断开是通过后侧开关而没有可能由主CPU驱动的。
您已经写过主CPU将命令发送到选项板。
但我检查A7A1和A10的电路(跟踪发电机控制)并且没有可见的额外CPU,因此不能在电路板之间进行任何数据传输。
数据总线和逻辑系统上只有一些多路复用器。
但我不确定原理图中是否有所有内容 - 缺少RF部件,缺少跟踪......等等。
在跟踪板中有一个额外的CPU的情况下,可能是在安装了跟踪的分析器中进行捕获通信并将通信编程到自己的cpu中(没问题,但是我没有用于测试的原始跟踪的分析器:(。

  Hello, 
I have with friend two 8591E . The tracking gen is working fine, we tested version with precise PLL and with xtal. But the switching on/off is via switch on tha rear side and without possibility alc that maybe should be driven by main CPU. 
You have written that main CPU sends commands to option board. But I check circuit of A7A1 and A10 (tracking gen control) and there is not visible extra cpu, so can not be any data transfer between the boards. Only some muxs on the data bus and logic ics there are. 
But I am not sure if there is everything drawn in the schematics - RF parts there are missing , tracking is missing.... and many more.  
In the case there is an extra cpu in tracking board, the possibility is capture communication in analyser with installed tracking and program the communication into the own cpu (no problem to make this, but I have no analyser with original tracking for testing :(  . 
Can you help me?

  There is no CPU for communications on the tracking generator control boards, one isn't needed for it to identify itself, or to be controlled by the instrument. The CPU on the processor assembly in the instrument sends out a signal during power up that causes the option boards to respond back via some of the limited digital circuitry that they have at a specific time across the bus, letting the main instrument CPU know what is out there.

Knowing what I do about how the internal tracking generator interacts with the rest of the instrument, and how it is controlled,  I'm afraid I can't imagine anyone making a tracking generator that wasn't designed for these instruments work in it...

您好,感谢您的信息,但也许有人自己找到了跟踪自己在公交车上找到了确切的标识,我正在等待这些信息。
如果你写的pricniple应该是从电路可见的,我会尝试分析这个。
或者一些开发人员(如果仍然生活在世界上)可以记住它是如何设计的。

thanks for info, but maybe somebody who has bulit the tracking himself found the exact identification on the bus and I am waiting for this information. In the case you wrote the pricniple should be visible from circuits, I will try to analyse this. 
Or some developer engeneer (if is still living on the world) could remember how it is designed.
