用ubuntu的话：
执行sudo apt-get install apt-get install aptitab instab libncurses5-dev 用fedora的话： 第一种：yum install libcurses5-dev 安装这个库 第二种：如果你通过第一种方法后错误依然存在，使用 yum install *curses* 更新全部含有curses的系统库 |

我用的是Ubuntu。你是不是重复打了apt-get install ?按你的方法还是出现问题

谢谢回复，这样还是没用。一直显示unable to locate package libcurses5-dev找不到安装包。我更新了软件包试了一下，还只这样。在网上搜了一下也有蛮多网友遇到过这种问题，但我至今还没有找到解决的方法。

非常感谢@论坛答疑，即日恢复 帮我解决了这个困扰我好几天问题。由于我用的是自己安装的Ubuntu 14.02版本。和韦老师的不一样。输入#sudo apt-get install libncurs*就可以安装curses库，然后就可以正常执行make menuconfig命令了
