I just need your guys opinion on weather or not the data will be displayed fast enough on the pc from the analyzer, or if it will have a delay since there is a 15ms delay with GPIB and since i have 4 measurements on a split screen. the time from resuming the S11 to S22 and back to S11 will be to long and not really real time. 0

If I understand your situation correctly, I think I would have 2 programs. 1 VXE to run on the Analyser. This would be used to set up the Analysers settings and allow for real time tweaking. Then I would use a second program on a seperate computer to capture the final resuls assuming you need to save the data somewhere. THis way you can use the analyser to make the measurements and the other computer to save/log results. The only thing I do not know is how to interface the two programs. It certainly can be done, but I have never actually don that before. That is my 2 cents.
