Now I’m trying to add phase noise to the VCO. 1) I’m not sure which simulator is appropriate. What I understand is SSB phase noise is dBc/Hz so it's observed in the frequency spectrum, hence can use HB simulator. However, the signal is generated in time, so CE simulator should be used? 2) I have added phase noise using PM_ModTuned, but the simulated graph doesn’t quite make sense..
