I can understand your worry about this. 

Things you might need to check are:-
1) Are all the actions that you are using are developed by Agilent? If yes, the newer version should be able to run without problem.
2) If there are some actions that are developed by your company, we might need to try out if it works in Win 7 and TestExec SL 7. 

I would suggest that:-
1) You have a backup of your hardisk before changing them to Win7 & TestExec SL 7
2) Contact the local AE/ AE that has been supporting you all the while to standby in case you get into problems. And of course, you can certainly contact us.

I cannot guaranteed the whole process will run smoothly as it has too much variables. Nonetheless, TestExec SL 7 has tried the best to be compatible and retaining all the actions previously developed.

P/S: The current version of TestExec SL is 7.1.3, same for TS5000.

  Hi Tsjabrantes,

TestExec SL 7 is able to run in both 32 bit and 64 bit. The only problem was that VXI Plug&Play drviers are not able to be installed in 64-bit drivers. However, if TS-5000 software has detected your operating system to be 64 bit, it will automatically copy the needed DLL for VXI Modules to the correct destination. This will makes all the testplans to work.

Do note that, even though your operating system is 64 bit, TestExec SL is still running in 32 bit environment. Thus, the VXI DLLs has no issue.
