The .xkt file from your (Dave's) site doesn't have a closing tag at the end. After I added it manually in a text editor, I didn't have any further difficulty getting my N9923A to load it. With the malformed .XKT file on the analyzer, I found that attempting to catalog the cal kits with SENS:CORR:COLL:CKIT:LAB:CAT? would crash the OS, causing it to do a cold reboot. It would then lock up at the splash screen with the bar graph at 99%. Subsequent power cycles were OK. With the corrected file, the SCPI catalog request works as expected, returning the list of available calkits including Kirkby Microwave's. So it sounds like the bug was in the XML editor that created the .xkt file in the first place.
