Today marks the opening of the VISION trade fair in Stuttgart, Germany, a major event for the Machine Vision industry that supports applications ranging from barcode identification and robot vision to traffic systems and industrial inspection. If you have a machine that needs to “see” as part of its operation, this is the event to be at – whether you’re looking for individual components (cameras, lighting, software) or an integrated system solution.
With this focus, it’s no surprise that ON Semiconductor is exhibiting at this event to showcase our latest image sensor products and technologies. Since this is our first major exhibition following the acquisition of the Truesense Imaging and Aptina businesses, we’re excited to announce our latest products – including new high-resolution options in our PYTHON CMOS family, and an entirely new class of CCD image sensors that redefine low-light imaging. We will also have a demonstration of the world’s highest resolution Interline Transfer CCD, which will allow machine vision cameras to “see” with an unprecedented level of detail. And all this is in addition to our broad portfolio of existing CCD and CMOS devices which are used throughout this industry.
We look forward to meeting with camera manufacturers at this event to explore new ways we can work together to bring new imaging solutions to this and other industrial imaging markets. If you will be at the VISION exhibition this week, we hope you can stop by our booth (1C82) to say hello and see our latest innovations in CCD and CMOS image sensors.
We hope you’ll join us in Stuttgart – with our newly combined resources, we’re excited about what the future holds.
